The Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association (MESPA) is thrilled to announce that Southview Elementary in Apple Valley (ISD 196) has been named a Minnesota School of Excellence (SOE), one of only six schools in the state to receive this esteemed designation for 2024.
District 196 students exceeded state averages on statewide reading, math, and science tests given last spring, according to results released by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) on August 29.
The College Board recognized 818 District 196 high school students for their performance on Advanced Placement (AP) course exams taken during the 2023-24 school year.
